French language services at Pearson Airport
Upon arrival at Toronto’s Lester B. Pearson Airport, a reception and orientation service for French-speaking persons with permanent resident status is available at Terminals 1 and 3. This kiosk provides an index of Francophone resources and services available across Canada, and directs newcomers and their families to the various French-language services available in the destination province or territory.
Did you know that?
- Thirteen Francophone immigration networks (RIFs) are present throughout Canada, with the exception of Quebec and Nunavut. These networks bring together in one region all the resources and know-how of a variety of stakeholders in a range of sectors. They help you to settle in the Francophone or Acadian community of your choice.
- The RIFs in each province have welcome kits containing information on French-language services available to newcomers.
