This article investigates the identity of French-speaking Yukoners expressed through their
artistic creations. The approach aims to bring out via art projects the sense of identity that
members of the Yukon French community experience through migration between their places
of origin and the Yukon. Utilizing theoretical concepts specific to Identity Experience in the
creative processes, the research focuses on the migratory journeys recounted by
French-speaking Yukoners based on two storytelling modalities: 1) First by creating an art
project focused on the theme of their migratory history; 2) Then, by the verbal accounts of
their life stories. The resulting testimonies through Art Intervention is part of a broader
approach of Action Research in understanding social phenomena.
